Baked Apples....!!!

Talk about a ‘blast from the past’ type of dessert...!!
I don’t think I’ve had a baked apple since my childhood...
Don’t know where this idea came from...I was looking up if it was possible to Airfry them but it seems baking or slow cooking is the better way to go...so they blipped away there in my slow cooker the whole afternoon....
And I have to say that although they are not the most attractive dessert you’ll ever see, they are absolutely delicious..scoop of Icecream and a shake of brown sugar...!!
I ‘stuffed’ the centers with spoons of my Christmas Mincemeat....a handy way but you can of course fill the center with anything you like...!!
