Seen better days

I noticed this poor shrivelly apple on the apple tree in our garden on my way to my annual eye test this afternoon.  The drops the optician put in my eyes seemed to take longer than ever before to clear on this occasion- they were still clouding my eyesight nearly three hours later.  It was a good thing I decided to walk down to town rather than driving
