For his ashes...

This little wooden box I've been painting will hold some of Josef's ashes. He was in his early forties when his body was found in the Willamette River. Healthcare for the mentally ill has been dismantled in this country. Inadequate healthcare results in families burdened with the impossible task of caring for their children, and grieving. It is inexcusable social neglect.
