Manatees!

Last day in the Sunshine State, we went to Homosassa Springs to see the manatees. These ‘magestic’ creatures come into the inlets and rivers during the cooler winter months to swim in the warmer waters. The babies are my favorite! And gosh can they move fast when they want too. We saw a full grown manatee swimming, creating a wake behind it.

Returned to the ZHills and had a mini shopping trip through Rural King. A jacked up Tractor Supply/Harbor Freight. My favorite part was the shopping popcorn! They encourage snacking by placing a full size popcorn machine vending machine at the entrance. You grab a bag of fresh popcorn and snack while you browse! What a concept. Loved it!

It’s been a great long weekend and I love the time we’ve shared. I always feel like the luckiest girl to have such incredible parents.

Tomorrow we fly home.
