A summer evening on the beach

I had household chores to do after breakfast and MrMacD also had things to occupy himself with.  He dropped me into the office at 10:30am so I could do a handover of the work I’ve been doing for the daughter, which took until 2pm.  MrMacD kindly picked me up and we had coffee together before he got on with some gardening as well as preparing his sourdough, and I did some more household chores.  Around 6:15pm we walked down to St Heliers to take part in the Pigeon Underground 5km walk/run to Mission Bay and back.  It’s a lot of fun, but today it was very windy, especially on the return journey when we were walking into a head wind.   

I took a photo of the beach before we started the walk at 7:45pm and another after we finished 46 minutes later.
