Right Royal Jubilee

We were very kindly invited to join Angie's middle sister Siglinde's 60th birthday 'party' with her immediate family - husband, two sons & their wives.

The family are well known for doing quite big parties on such anniversaries, e.g. her 40th,  I'm not sure but think her 50th was celebrated on some tropical isle as no mention in my Blip. But this year, her boys had given her a luxury weekend at the town next to the famous Neuschwanstein & Hohenschwangau castles of King Ludwig II of Bavaria - the place American's think Germans copied from Disneyland.

Right next to the castles is the lovely medieval town of Füssen, directly on the Austrian border. And that was where we met up for dinner. About a 60km drive for us, so very easy despite slight snowfall and -5°C temperature. A lovely evening
