Fallen

I dismembered the last of my birthday flowers (hope you like the end they made, Vaila), to make this picture. It was quite fun, and I learned several things, not least that tossing bits of greenery in the air and hoping they will land artfully is in vain. I had to stop to go and pick up Elsie and Hannah from their Girl's Brigade lifeboat trip. As I went out to the car, there in the garden was a hedgehog saying 'Blip me, blip me!' Honestly. But I decided that hedgehogs are actually ten a penny, and no one has seen my dead flowers before.

It rained today. Morning, noon and night.
