Bus Pass Walk and culture.
Not as cold today, and 6 of us rode in the K4 "bread van" to Riddlesden and walked back along the canal. Some nice reflections again, and the waterfowl were grateful for food. Lunch at 5 Rise Locks Cafe - very crowded when we arrived but a kind lady let some of the group share her table. An extra coffee to while away more time, and then a walk into town to see "Mrs Harris Goes to Paris" at the community cinema. Funny, poignant and a feel good film. Found it quite emotional in parts - getting soft in my old age!! Bus back to the village and a change of clothes, then off to Keighley Playhouse to see "The woman in the van". Excellent portrayals of Alan Bennett, and a well performed play. Full on, but very enjoyable day. Still broken ice on the canal, a sign I liked, and parts of the interesting Piano Barge in extras.
