Nature reserve pond

This is one of the 3 nature reserve ponds I don't go to that often. 

I've been struggling with a sciatica flare-up since last week. I'm doing 2 walks around the allotment site every day to keep moving, and today I thought I'd walk the longer way round. 

I can't do any digging or mulching on the plot but at least I can look around and inspect things more closely. 

It must be in the shade because the ice is still very thick. It's a nice, tranquil spot and I thought it looked very atmosphereric today.
