The Raw Ingredients

Neeps and tatties and half a haggis (Mrs W not to keen so she has sausage).
 
 
And a little drop of the hard stuff to wash it down with.
 
I think I’ll have a half tot (single measure) of the Talisker before dinner, and a full tot (or more) of the Gen Moray with dinner.  The Talisker is ‘cask strength’ and must be treated with great respect and caution – taken neat with a glass of fizzy water on the side to keep the pallet fresh and to aid recovery should you make the mistake of breathing while you are savouring it.
 
Of course it’s Burns Night.
 
 
So what happened today – well I washed the car (rinsed the ‘salt’ off) and posted a birthday card.
