Around the Forth

Thought I'd take a nice walk in the sunshine after work, along the river. Wasn't expecting hailstones but, on current form, wasn't surprised by it either. Headed back to the car absolutely drookit. Spotted an absolute beauty of a rainbow just after, doubler and as saturated as I've seen. There's plenty of great shots of it on here already tonight though so have gone for this instead.

I've been finding I'm doing more processing in Lightroom recently and had played around with some settings in last night's rainbow shot down by the river and liked the way it worked with the clouds and the water. Applied the same to tonight's shot and it's now saved as a custom preset labelled 'Around the Forth'. That's two shots in, same theme; counts as the start of series in my book.

On things non-photo-techy-babbly, our wee local football team Alloa have just put in a most respectable performance indeed in the first leg of their first division play-off against Dunfermline. Was on the telly and everything.* A nice 3 goal cushion to take with them on Saturday for the second leg.
