Golden Brown

There are a few oak saplings alongside one of paths that I walk along and several of them have retained their leaves despite the recent cold snap. This one stood out as the leaves are still a wonderful golden brown. The others are a much paler colour.  These also stood out nicely against the lighter background.

In hindsight I wish I had taken one step to the right so that the leaves were separated from the tree on the right. Ho hum….
