Remembering a special someone

Matt took me to St Cross Church to visit my nana's grave.
It was Nana's birthday while I was away on Scilly and while I was away Matt came to the church to lay down some flowers, which he wanted to show me to make sure were ok (!). I think its wonderful, from no prompting from anyone, my husband loved my nana so much that he took it upon himself to go to her grave by himself on her birthday. My nana loved him, always said to me that I had caught a good one in him. We used to joke that he was her toy boy, as they used to meet up for lunch dates when Matt worked in Winchester. He did so much for her, came with me every Friday to see her for coffee, cake and a catch up. Quite simply he loved her as if she was his own grandma.

I agree with her, I am lucky that he picked me for his wife.
