Scott Monument

Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh 

Called into town in the morning. Enabled an opportunity to look up at the Scott monument once allowed to head home. 

I didn't walk as far as the Burns monument, but Scott's looked striking in the sunshine and seemed apt for the day since he was likely inspired by Burns. Later in the evening my book group enjoyed a wee Burns supper together, kindly prepared by J.
