Familiar ground
It was another Edinburgh day today but this time down in Leith at what was pre-pandemic my 'base building' I was there a couple of times a month minimum. It was strange it being so quiet ( however a very packed Canteen at lunch, possibly as it was a Burns Special).
I decided to walk from Waverley Station to see the tram extension progress and because I love Leith Walk it's an eclectic mix of shops, businesses, bars etc. It has a lovely feel to it. Even though it takes a good 40 minutes to the office it can still be quicker than the bus! The blip is ' The Water of Leith,'. A grey day but the drizzle had stopped by this time.
