…and the return journey begins. Everything was smooth from start to finish. Plenty of time prepared, immigration, check in, security, boarding passes, in-out and no dramas. It feels like normal, except that the prices are higher.

Melbourne has evolved so much, the culture, the nightlife, food and ease of living. It’s amazing. Some things don’t change though, the humour is still the same, the sun kissed character of conversations, the openness in conversations between strangers, it’s easy to make friends.

I have carved out two lives living simultaneously. I understand better now, how my folks can switch between characters when travelling overseas.
