Spot the House
Drove out to see my neighbour this morning, he is between travels, having spent the last month in Italy, he heads off to Sweden next week. I love going out to this little hand built house perched high on the headland and overlooking the wild Atlantic.
It's a place I've enjoyed visiting since my girls were little, it is only accessible on foot, a path of hand picked stones mark the way and many an evening I have carried two sleepy girls following those stones shining in the moonlight. It's a place where being so close to the elements has worries melt away and a bit of perspective gained, wonderfully freeing, I always leave in high spirits. Today the house blends so well into the environment that it was built from, the grass roof was full of sea pinks.
Thanks so much for the hearts, stars and lovely comments for yesterday young heron blip.
