Out and about

We are running out of days in Dorset so a drive around was the order of the day!

The rain clouds were still hovering and in fact it hailed while we were having lunch at Broadwindsor Craft Centre, luckily then!

Our first stop was back at Hooke Park where yesterday the light was brilliant but very very wet! Today the sun didn't help cant win! then we popped down to look at our farm and house that we sold to go to NZ.

After lunch we hiked up to the top of Lewsdon Hill one of my favourite woods, the Blue Bells were so pretty and the trees a gorgeous green.
The pink flower is a Campion.

The main picture is looking down on the Marshwood Vale, you can see for miles.

On the way back to Weymouth we went through my home villages Loders, Uploders and Askerswell.
The church gates lead you to the church Rob and I got married at.
Uploders is where I was brought up on a farm called Upton Manor Farm, and Askerswell is where my junior school used to be now a house.

Back to Weymouth, where we were spoilt with a lovely meal as usual, very tired!
