And one of my favourite quotes from her is " if you want to see the rainbow you got to put up with the rain".

Well, it certainly rained today.

I was just bemoaning my luck that I had not managed my 5x50 cycle ride or my blip for the day as we drove home in the torrential rain when Dolly's Wisdom paid off....

Jumped out of car, got soaked, caught kids rolling their eyes at each other at their nutty mother taking photos in the rain..... ah well!

AND, squeezed in a very wet and very muddy 10km later too!
