Family Ghost

Gatwick from afar

I found myself on the wrong side of the M25 today. For a north London boy, being south of the Thames is like visiting a foreign country, they do things differently there. But not that much differently and I needed sustainance.

Rather than a service station I stopped and in a car park just off the motorway by the Reigate turnoff and had a tuna melt from 'urban Kitchen' It's a national heritage maintained site. There are great views and, way off in the distance, was Gatwick.

While I was there a local school was out doing a survey on National Trust membership - well, I think that's what they were supposed to be doing!
