At the Lowry this evening to see Sutra, a fantastic dance piece with sets (and I suspect some of the choreography) by sculptor Anthony Gormley and featuring 17 practicing Buddhist monks from the Shaolin Temple in China. Sounds a bit weird but the combination of dance, kung fu, tai chi and sculpture was compelling.

Unfortunately you weren't allowed to take photos so it was a good job I'd taken some shots before we went in. This is the Imperial War Museum North from across the Manchester Ship Canal in the evening sun.
