Bread
Made some sourdough today as well as some mini baguettes. Both turned out rather well. Very satisfying and of course very delicious.
Read today in the Guardian of some bloke having big trouble trying and often failing to make sourdough. He said he was a slave to his culture and his bread often failed. I guess he was just a journalist short of a story but I hope he didn’t put people of the glory of making real bread, not the Chorley Wood process stuff served up in supermarkets.
