At Wilton, the church of St Mary and St Nicholas. Dates back to 1844. Most of the money and inspiration for this church came from Catherine Herbert, whose dad was Russian Ambassador to Britain. Marble from Italy and glass from France.
In extras. Just down the road ,blue plaque for Edith. I know she wrote The Love Child and The Triumphant Footman.
