A tidy garden...

...doesn't have Aquilegia or Corncockles or Feverfew or Campion popping up between paving stones. Nor does it have seed heads for birds to feed on during the winter, nor something to photograph for a blip when nothing else inspires and you haven't got time to faff around looking for a sheltering ladybird. There's a lot to be said for a Spring tidy up.
