Yorkshire Sport

Usual trip to Birstall for fish.
This week we are having Smoked Haddock topped with poached eggs, and served on top of crushed potatoes and leeks.
Tomorrow it will be cod fritters with chilli and ginger and. tomato sauce.

Walking through the town we pass these murals which are down a side street.
I have been meaning to blip them for a while.
They are on a wall outside the Priestley’s Sports Bar.
However I haven’t been able to find out anything about them on line. So don’t know who painted them or when they were put there.
I wonder how many Yorkshire sports people you recognise.
They were difficult to photograph as it was a narrow passageway down a slope.
So I’m afraid this is the best I could do.
