Bullfinch
While there are no leaves on the trees it can be quite easy to spot the Bullfinches gorging on the ripening buds …… if you look up to the top branches where they eat their fill without too much disturbance from other birds.
The Heritage Park is one of the best places to spot the Bullfinches because the trees are well spaced and not like Pollok where there are many trees and it is not always easy to see up to the top branches.
A lovely day but I did have to scrape the car windscreen to remove the frost. It had been cold enough during the night to freeze the water in the Heritage Park nature reserve.
