Back in Time

Jack and I went out for lunch today. Our main reason was because we fancied some oysters. So we headed to what had been Loch Fyne Restaurant in Cambridge until a few weeks ago when it closed down. . It has reopened under new management and now it is called Little Rose as it was as far back as 17th century, when it was mentioned by Pepys. I like the idea of it going back to its original name.

However we were unlucky with the oysters as no fresh seafood had arrived this morning. Lots of apologies given. There are still a number of fish dishes on the menu and plenty of good meat and vegi too. We both enjoyed our lunch choices and we will be back!
