Sunbathing Ducks.

Along the canal this afternoon. Another beautiful sunny winters day, cool but not cold and we have taken advantage by making up for some “lost” walking mileage (15,301 steps) 
Opposite these ducks is an old lock-keepers cottage occupied by an old couple who keep hens, ducks and some other birds. At least they did; I fear that this avian flu outbreak has claimed this little flock, just hope the water birds on the canal manage to keep healthy.
While we were perambulating the county, three days worth of washing was out on the line at last - and it all came in good and dry!
