Aquarium

Today it is absolutely pouring with rain with a lot of flooding on the roads. We took the boys to a place that is part museum about Scott of the Antarctic, penguins, fish, sharks, and rescued turtles which they eventually get back to the wild. It’s amazing because the turtles are released around Poor Knights Island and the area where they are is an exact replica of the rocks, stones and so on around the island. This is so when they are released they recognise the area and are less stressed.
There’s also an area where children can colour in a fish then scan it and it becomes a moving fish on a moving ‘mural’ on a large wall which is very popular!
