Daffodil Bud

Heading up to Edinburgh for a couple of days with Kat and then a Weekend of "Cat sitting" while she heads down to Sheffield to spend a few days with her sister and family.  An absolutely foul drive up when it wasn't raining the spray was so thick cars passing lorries disappeared from view.

Clickychick got a phone shot of a rainbow as we drove.  I arrived blipless, so out into the garden.  I was surprised at how far ahead of ours her daffodils are.  This one is well on while ours are just green shoots.  Soas a record shot that is my blip.

I haven't decided if it is the city micro climate, the lower height above sea level or being nearer the sea, possibly a combination of all three which is causing it to be earlier than ours.
