Evening light
A highly productive day. I cut the tape of the Playgroup garden extension and was very pleased for the wee peeps. It's just great that they have a fenced in area right beside their room. They are out every day and really make such great use of their outdoor space. They also use the school space and spend much time in the sensory garden.
I then waved a teary tissue as the P7's took off for their 3 day residential. Gets me every year. I guess I remember that feeling every time I put my own wee one (now 22) on a plane, and next plane she gets on, she's away for a full 12 months! I wonder if I will visit her in Nigeria...
I finished preparing a paper that I have to present next week - now need to talk it to myself! I also got stuck into the improvement plan for the next 3 years and made good progress. Both pieces of work dovetailed quite well, so that cut down the typing time!
A leisurely walk past this tree and on into the field and up the hill. Such beautiful countryside around me. So very peaceful with only birdsong breaking through the silence. Peace!
