In the Garden

I thought this lovely Witchazel flower in the garden would be suitable for Flower Friday. 

We went food shopping this afternoon and did check out at one of the do it yourself belts and tills.  The couple in front of us didn't put their shopping on the belt, just did it out of their trolley. When it came to our turn we had trouble scanning our first couple of items.  The nice young assistant came to help us and I noticed some beer coming up on the screen so I called him back and told him we didn't have any beer.  Then some more items came up with the request to put them back on the packing place.  We had none of those items.  It turns out that the couple in front of us had gone with their shopping without paying.  Apparently that is happening more and more.  What a sad state of affairs...
