International Holocaust Remembrance Day

I took these photographs in the summer of 1972 on a visit to the memorial site at Dachau Concentration Camp. They were slides, now quite deteriorated in the 51 years since my visit. I've edited them to look even grimmer. My memories of that somber visit remain crystal clear in my mind. The town of Dachau is a small unassuming suburb of Munich, now remembered as the very first nazi work camp. We must remember and not repeat this horror.
