Back Blip

We traipsed over a damp field to a shelter/hide where we sat for a couple of hours waiting for the King Vultures to join the black headed vultures who were feasting on a supplied banquet.
The King Vultures are very shy and we sat still and quiet for quite some time before one flew in. Quite extraordinary birds with their unusual headgear. We managed to get a few shots before something spooked them all and they flew off.  The black headed vultures came back reasonably fast but the King Vulture was seen no more.  After sitting for a further hour or so we called it a day.  As you can see we sat through some wet weather!
