Ingliston Country Club

Back down in the Clyde Valley today. A mid afternoon search for a coffee took us to the Ingliston Country Club and Equestrian Centre in Bishopton. This establishment had been recommended by a friend.

It turned out not only to have coffee and chocolate cake but also two arena, one fitted out with jumps. There were quite a few equestrians around in the arena. This guy was taking a stroll around the arena and over some of the jumps.

The restaurant overlooks the arena, and so watching the horses even put the excellent chocolate cake in the shade. It takes a lot to do that. Well worth a visit, I shall return!
