A well fed visitor.
There are at least six Blackbirds that feed in our garden, this one is the only one that doesn't fly away when I take some food out for them. I usually give a couple of short whistles as I throw some currants in the border where there is some cover, and he has started to fly in for them.
I don't want him to get too tame, or reliant, as there is a Sparrow Hawk that puts in an appearance from time to time.
This week end is the RSPB garden bird count, it has been good so far, I did a count this morning, and was pleased with the figures.
