A Wren’s rear end

A & I sat for awhile to watch for birds at the feeders in our garden.

Despite the early morning sun, no wind or rain the number of sightings were disappointing. We did spot two pretty Long Tailed Tits but they were too far away and too well camouflaged amongst the winter branches to capture a recognisable image.

Another atypical sighting was of a wren who pecked around in the patio pots. Again a poor image but an addition to our RSPB Big garden birdwatch.
