Took Rachel in a birthday cake today (it’s her birthday tomorrow). Only a tiny one but we all managed a slice with our morning tea. It was nice - I’d been worried about how dense it was.

Had some lunch and a catch-up with Katie - just sandwiches in Pret. We thought we saw Jamie Demetriou and then revelled in the rare feeling of finding someone who’ll understand Stath references.

I did some overtime after work, then popped home briefly before heading up the hill to Bill and Madd’s. We hadn’t seen Beano since before Christmas (outrageous) and he was suitably excited to see us. Had so so many nice cuddles with him.
