Walk

The clear weather motivated me to turn Django's walk into a trip to the Pentlands (see extra). We walked over to Flotterstone, and back via Turnhouse and Carnethy (both pictured), walking uphill, but running downhill. Coming through the park I spotted the corner flags in place at Penicuik Athletic's ground, and deduced that there was a home game this afternoon.

The weather remained clear and sunny for the first half - when Crossgates scored a fine goal and Penicuik equalised scruffily just before the break. By then I'd met up with a guy from Informatics I've known for years. We moved across the ground to watch the second half, in which Penicuik created more than enough chances to win, but it finished 1-1.
