If you go down to the woods today...

I haven't lived in Kirkby now for some 44 years, but, current sad family circumstances means that I'm back several times a week at the moment. Today I took the chance to take a walk from my sisters down into the woods at Annesley. Woodland photography is a bit of a hit and miss to get good interesting images.


We then went to visit mum, who, while still very ill, was very much better than on recent visits. That said, we're starting from a very low base, and good, is a relative situation. For the first time for days, there were no IV drips or oxygen and she was able to say a few words, words and sentences that we could recognise. She also understood a little of what we were saying. We're hoping that progress will continue.
