Cley and environs

Sunny Saturday morning; out to Cley next the Sea to the NWT centre there for morning coffee and to catch the exhibition by Jayne Ivimey called No Place to Be, which shows the increasing threat to seabirds. The cafe at Cley has a wonderful view across the reserve so watched the Marsh Harriers soaring; back through Cley and Wiveton to Blakeney for a stroll through the village - the Anchor at Morston was sadly closed for refurbishment -  on to Stiffkey and the Red Lion where we were potentially having lunch, but the new owners had changed the menu to some unusual, although tasty looking choices; home via Walsingham and Barsham.(the pub there featuring on the latest Hairy Bikers' series - my daughter met them when they stayed at the pub where she worked during filming) and then an afternoon of pottering, and an evening of FA Cup football.
