A Wonderful Saturday

Today has been wonderful :) Just what my soul needed.

Managed to get my fringe trimmed too - long overdue!

Managed to meet up with my friend after two hours of my electric heat pad, a hot shower and plenty of pacing. I hope my body doesn’t pay for it too much tomorrow.

We went for a drink in the pub, fruity soft drinks for me. I had a coffee and toasted tea cake before I met him in one of my favourite local coffee shops - beautiful, authentic coffee - Italian coffee. Staff as are always so attentive and kind.

We had such a laugh and spent almost five hours together, chatting and listening to music on the jukebox and watching darts on TV. We are both big snooker fans. I learnt a lot about darts today! 

I promised not to post a photo of him as he is camera shy. I keep my promises and respect people’s privacy :)

Off to bed utterly exhausted but happy. We’re hoping to meet up on Tuesday or next weekend, health allowing.
