Dixie Belle

I took a furniture painting class today. We have hubby's dads secretary and I wanted to paint it but I wanted to be sure not to ruin it. So I signed up for a class using Dixie Belle paint products. I know my way around a paint brush but felt there may be tricks I did not know about this technique. I chose the color rusty nail. I think that will go nicely with our WV farmhouse, and I do love rust! Sure enough I learned some good ones and made a few new friends who like some of the same things I like. 
We picked the Godson up for a late afternoon visit. Another fun day under our belt!
