In the Gap

I went for my usual stroll around the block first thing this morning, saw lots of rowers and swimmers, plus the usual cyclists, runners and dog walkers.  In this photo is Mt Iron, and our famous willow tree.  I didn't go to church, instead I watched on 'zoom'.  The hymn for today is 'Bless The Lord O my Soul'.

After church I parked by the park, and walked from there into town.  I must say how hot it was +27C.  Finished 10K steps.  I have spent the afternoon in the shade reading.

Tomorrow plan 'a' is to drive to John Creek and walk along the cliff face at Lake Hawea.  It should be another hot and sunny day.
