Sucker punch

There was undoubtedly a bit of a circus about today, being Duncan's first game in charge of Forest Green. I was a little torn to be honest, I was supporting Shrewsbury but desperately want Dunc to do well, more so than any other Evertonian going into management.

Shrewsbury started off really brightly and the first 18 minutes or so looked like it was only going one way...then FGR scored. That seemed to knock the wind out of Shrews' sails as though they'd gone into the game expecting to beat the bottom of the table opposition. After the goal FGR were solid, determined, and the better team, which must have made it hard to take when Shrewsbury scored twice in stoppage time in the 94th and 98th minutes to snatch it. That explains the disappointed trudging off after thanking the travelling fans. 

Not the easiest to get pictures either before* or during* the game. Normally I'd have gone with autograph signing* but I was a bit like a starstruck kid.
