Beauty spot on our doorstep

Today is blast's last day! ;( It has been incredible spending so much time together so effortlessly, especially as I only met her a few days ago. She is lovely!

Eileen and I met up with her for breakfast, and we were joined later by Diane. You know how they say - you never check out the places closest to you? (Like G and Dubai Frame yesterday) Today, we finally did a walk down Al Seef. When blast first arrived, we walked her through it to get to the abra station, but we didn't quite have the luxury of time. Today was a good day to take pictures and see the place. Eileen had been here once before (in 2018), but it was in the evening.

Diane gave us a ride home, where we met up with G, and then I'm afraid, I crashed! I managed to get a nap before we met with Jeff & Margaret for an early dinner. Jeff's birthday was on the 7th, so we treated him to a Caesar's sizzler. Margaret too. On to the SA meeting. It's good we went as there were so few there. We were home before 9. Amazingly, despite our non-stop schedule, Eileen has managed to keep blipping!! So impressed!
