Grey Heron

Four of the Heron were waiting around the dovecote this morning. As I approached there was a bit of a power struggle which reduced it to the aggressive female and the new male. I gave them both a quick feed then made my way round to feed the regular male and whoever else was there. Turned out the 5 were all there so I fed them all as best I could. The passive female (pictured) followed me as I made my way to the exit. I had saved a bit of fish so she got that and I hit the road home feeding the crows as I went.
