If a building is derelict in a city you have two choices, look at boarded up windows or look at boarded up windows covered in vibrant, graphic posters advertising club nights or gigs.

If i have the choice i would always choose the latter, its like the wallpaper of an exciting city to me.

It really annoys me when people paint over them and put up the signs like the one on the left... so the addition on the right is my small rebellion ... I managed to put up ten today before work ... Citizen Smithski :-)
