Nearly had a ducking

I made it to the pond today and was happily feeding the birds when my little plastic bag of food fell in the water. (I blame my thick gloves for that!)

I couldn't leave the plastic floating in the water in case it hurt the ducks. 

Luckily the little bag had handles, unluckily I couldn't reach it with my hands from the bank as it had drifted a few inches away. I lay on my back and used a toe to hoik it back to the edge, then I could fish it out. 

I came back home a bit muddy and a bit soggy around the ankle. Not the best duck pond visit ever.
