Peak Walk, Glacier 3000

The views from the Peak Walk (bridge) at the Glacier 3000 are fabulous. This shot how the bridge spans the gap. Not a walk for those with a fear of heights.

We had an early start to ski with our guests on the Glacier 3000 as we expected it to be busy but the car park was empty. We had the pistes to ourselves and they were in excellent condition. Our guests couldn’t believe how incredible it all was…and we agree despite many visits.

In the cafe we met an ex student from 29 years ago. He is now teaching, and giving tandem flights, speed kiting ie skiing down the steep mountainside with a tiny parachute, occasionally touching down to ski, then taking off again. We’d seen them doing it earlier in the day…incredible to see.
